Three SysBio Students Receive NSF Fellowships

Congratulations to three first-year Systems Biology graduate students have been awarded an NSF Graduate Research Fellowships from the National Science Foundation. Adam Carte, Gabriel Filsinger and Charleston Noble will each receive a three-year annual stipend of $32,000, along with a $12,000 cost of education allowance for tuition and fees, and opportunities for international research and professional development.

About the Fellowship

The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based Master's and doctoral degrees at accredited United States institutions. NSF awarded the GRF to 2,000 individuals from among 16,500 applicants in 2015.
